Each week local families, who are in poverty, meet over dinner with volunteers from the community to work toward their personal goals to become self-reliant. Have you ever tried ordering food for 40 to 60 people with a budget of under $4/person? Though it takes some creativity to put together presentable meals with a limited budget, the cause can be quite rewarding. I am thankful for my team who works together to make these dinners a weekly success.
